
Al Gomes & Big Noise Now
Big Noise's hard work and commitment has earned the company gold and platinum prize from the Recording Industry Association of America, fallowed by other major awards.
Al Gomes is a nominating and full voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (The Grammy Awards), in addition to helping on the Grammy Nomination Craft Committees for Best Box Set and Best Recording Package.
Inspired by Bob Geldof's Band Aid recording, Al Gomes planned the Bandwagon Project which farmed a welfare registering, 'Three Sides of Hunger' (having platinum registering musician John Cafferty), and two telecasted concerts which advanced knowingness of the plight of the misfortunate in New England and produced thousands of dollars for New England authorities that assist the starved and unsettled. For his movements, Al Gomes advanced to gain The Jefferson Award from the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Foundation for Outstanding Public Service.
